What are the driving directions and parking information for UC Berkeley?


It’s easy to get to UC Berkeley by car from anywhere in the Bay Area. For driving directions, visit http://visitors.berkeley.edu/gethere/traveling.shtml. As for parking on campus, if your visit has been set up ahead of time, ask a representative to either get you a permit or direct you to public parking. For those without an appointment who are having trouble parking, go to the East or West Gate and ask an attendant for assistance.

Is there a fee to see the Campanile (Sather Tower)?


There is no admission fee to the Campanile for UC Berkeley students, faculty, and staff who have a Cal ID. Plus, children under 3 are free. There is a $2 fee for those 18 and over while seniors, Cal Alumni Association members with ID, and those 17 and under can get in for $1.
